約拿書 第 2 章
本章大意 約拿在魚腹中禱告:救恩出於耶和華。
1約拿在魚腹中禱告耶和華─他的神，Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly,
2說：我遭遇患難求告耶和華，你就應允我；從陰間的深處呼求，你就俯聽我的聲音。And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
3你將我投下深淵，就是海的深處；大水環繞我，你的波浪洪濤都漫過我身。For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
4我說：我從你眼前雖被驅逐，我仍要仰望你的聖殿。Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
5諸水環繞我，幾乎淹沒我；深淵圍住我；海草纏繞我的頭。The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
6我下到山根，地的門將我永遠關住。耶和華─我的神啊，你卻將我的性命從坑中救出來。I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.
7我心在我裡面發昏的時候，我就想念耶和華。我的禱告進入你的聖殿，達到你的面前。When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
8那信奉虛無之神的人，離棄憐愛他們的主；They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
9但我必用感謝的聲音獻祭與你。我所許的願，我必償還。救恩出於耶和華。But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.
10耶和華吩咐魚，魚就把約拿吐在旱地上。And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
