1（上行之詩。）耶和華啊，我從深處向你求告！Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.
2主啊，求你聽我的聲音！願你側耳聽我懇求的聲音！Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
3主─耶和華啊，你若究察罪孽，誰能站得住呢？If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
4但在你有赦免之恩，要叫人敬畏你。But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
5我等候耶和華，我的心等候；我也仰望他的話。I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
6我的心等候主，勝於守夜的，等候天亮，勝於守夜的，等候天亮。My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
7以色列啊，你當仰望耶和華！因他有慈愛，有豐盛的救恩。Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
8他必救贖以色列脫離一切的罪孽。And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
