約伯記 第 27 章

¹約伯接著說：Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,

²神奪去我的理，全能者使我心中愁苦。我指著永生的神起誓：As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;

³我的生命尚在我裡面；神所賜呼吸之氣仍在我的鼻孔內。All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;

⁴我的嘴決不說非義之言；我的舌也不說詭詐之語。My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.

⁵我斷不以你們為是；我至死必不以自己為不正！God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.

⁶我持定我的義，必不放鬆；在世的日子，我心必不責備我。My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.

⁷願我的仇敵如惡人一樣；願那起來攻擊我的，如不義之人一般。Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.

⁸不敬虔的人雖然得利，神奪取其命的時候還有甚麼指望呢？For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?

⁹患難臨到他，神豈能聽他的呼求？Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?

¹⁰他豈以全能者為樂，隨時求告神呢？Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?

¹¹神的作為，我要指教你們；全能者所行的，我也不隱瞞。I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.

¹²你們自己也都見過，為何全然變為虛妄呢？Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye thus altogether vain?

¹³神為惡人所定的分，強暴人從全能者所得的報（原文是產業）乃是這樣：This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty.

¹⁴倘或他的兒女增多，還是被刀所殺；他的子孫必不得飽食。If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.

¹⁵他所遺留的人必死而埋葬；他的寡婦也不哀哭。Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep.

¹⁶他雖積蓄銀子如塵沙，預備衣服如泥土；Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;

¹⁷他只管預備，義人卻要穿上；他的銀子，無辜的人要分取。He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.

¹⁸他建造房屋如蟲做窩，又如守望者所搭的棚。He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh.

¹⁹他雖富足躺臥，卻不得收殮，轉眼之間就不在了。The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not.

²⁰驚恐如波濤將他追上；暴風在夜間將他颳去。Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night.

²¹東風把他飄去，又颳他離開本處。The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place.

²²神要向他射箭，並不留情；他恨不得逃脫神的手。For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.

²³人要向他拍掌，並要發叱聲，使他離開本處。Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
