約伯記 第 26 章

¹約伯回答說：But Job answered and said,

²無能的人蒙你何等的幫助！膀臂無力的人蒙你何等的拯救！How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?

³無智慧的人蒙你何等的指教！你向他多顯大知識！How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?

⁴你向誰發出言語來？誰的靈從你而出？To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?

⁵在大水和水族以下的陰魂戰兢。Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.

⁶在神面前，陰間顯露；滅亡也不得遮掩。Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.

⁷神將北極鋪在空中，將大地懸在虛空；He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

⁸將水包在密雲中，雲卻不破裂；He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.

⁹遮蔽他的寶座，將雲鋪在其上；He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.

¹⁰在水面的周圍劃出界限，直到光明黑暗的交界。He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.

¹¹天的柱子因他的斥責震動驚奇。The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.

¹²他以能力攪動（或譯：平靜）大海；他藉知識打傷拉哈伯，He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.

¹³藉他的靈使天有妝飾；他的手刺殺快蛇。By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.

¹⁴看哪，這不過是神工作的些微；我們所聽於他的是何等細微的聲音！他大能的雷聲誰能明透呢？Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
