詩篇 第 58 篇

¹（大衛的金詩，交與伶長。調用休要毀壞。）世人哪，你們默然不語，真合公義麼？施行審判，豈按正直麼？Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?

²不然！你們是心中作惡；你們在地上秤出你們手所行的強暴。Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.

³惡人一出母胎就與神疏遠，一離母腹便走錯路，說謊話。The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.

⁴他們的毒氣好像蛇的毒氣；他們好像塞耳的聾虺，Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;

⁵不聽行法術的聲音，雖用極靈的咒語也是不聽。Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.

⁶神啊，求你敲碎他們口中的牙；耶和華啊，求你敲掉少壯獅子的大牙！Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.

⁷願他們消滅，如急流的水一般；他們瞅準射箭的時候，願箭頭彷彿砍斷。Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.

⁸願他們像蝸牛消化過去，又像婦人墜落未見天日的胎。As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.

⁹你們用荊棘燒火，鍋還未熱，他要用旋風把青的和燒著的一齊颳去。Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.

¹⁰義人見仇敵遭報就歡喜，要在惡人的血中洗腳。The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

¹¹因此，人必說：義人誠然有善報；在地上果有施行判斷的神！So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
