詩篇 第 17 篇

¹（大衛的祈禱。）耶和華啊，求你聽聞公義，側耳聽我的呼籲！求你留心聽我這不出於詭詐嘴唇的祈禱！Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.

²願我的判語從你面前發出；願你的眼睛觀看公正。Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.

³你已經試驗我的心；你在夜間鑒察我；你熬煉我，卻找不著甚麼；我立志叫我口中沒有過失。Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

⁴論到人的行為，我藉著你嘴唇的言語自己謹守，不行強暴人的道路。Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.

⁵我的腳踏定了你的路徑；我的兩腳未曾滑跌。Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.

⁶神啊，我曾求告你，因為你必應允我；求你向我側耳，聽我的言語。I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.

⁷求你顯出你奇妙的慈愛來；你是那用右手拯救投靠你的脫離起來攻擊他們的人。Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.

⁸求你保護我，如同保護眼中的瞳人；將我隱藏在你翅膀的蔭下，Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,

⁹使我脫離那欺壓我的惡人，就是圍困我要害我命的仇敵。From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.

¹⁰他們的心被脂油包裹；他們用口說驕傲的話。They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.

¹¹他們圍困了我們的腳步；他們瞪著眼，要把我們推倒在地。They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;

¹²他像獅子急要抓食，又像少壯獅子蹲伏在暗處。Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.

¹³耶和華啊，求你起來，前去迎敵，將他打倒！用你的刀救護我命脫離惡人。Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:

¹⁴耶和華啊，求你用手救我脫離世人，脫離那只在今生有福分的世人！你把你的財寶充滿他們的肚腹；他們因有兒女就心滿意足，將其餘的財物留給他們的嬰孩。From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

¹⁵至於我，我必在義中見你的面；我醒了的時候，得見（或譯：著）你的形像就心滿意足了。As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
