詩篇 第 10 篇

¹耶和華啊，你為甚麼站在遠處？在患難的時候為甚麼隱藏？Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?

²惡人在驕橫中把困苦人追得火急；願他們陷在自己所設的計謀裡。The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

³因為惡人以心願自誇；貪財的背棄耶和華，並且輕慢他（或譯：他祝福貪財的，卻輕慢耶和華）。For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.

⁴惡人面帶驕傲，說：耶和華必不追究；他一切所想的都以為沒有神。The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

⁵凡他所做的，時常穩固；你的審判超過他的眼界。至於他一切的敵人，他都向他們噴氣。His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.

⁶他心裡說：我必不動搖，世世代代不遭災難。He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.

⁷他滿口是咒罵、詭詐、欺壓，舌底是毒害、奸惡。His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

⁸他在村莊埋伏等候；他在隱密處殺害無辜的人。他的眼睛窺探無倚無靠的人；He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.

⁹他埋伏在暗地，如獅子蹲在洞中。他埋伏，要擄去困苦人；他拉網，就把困苦人擄去。He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.

¹⁰他屈身蹲伏，無倚無靠的人就倒在他爪牙（爪牙：或譯強暴人）之下。He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.

¹¹他心裡說：神竟忘記了；他掩面永不觀看。He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.

¹²耶和華啊，求你起來！神啊，求你舉手，不要忘記困苦人！Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.

¹³惡人為何輕慢神，心裡說：你必不追究？Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.

¹⁴其實你已經觀看；因為奸惡毒害，你都看見了，為要以手施行報應。無倚無靠的人把自己交託你；你向來是幫助孤兒的。Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.

¹⁵願你打斷惡人的膀臂；至於壞人，願你追究他的惡，直到淨盡。Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.

¹⁶耶和華永永遠遠為王；外邦人從他的地已經滅絕了。The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.

¹⁷耶和華啊，謙卑人的心願，你早已知道（原文是聽見）。你必預備他們的心，也必側耳聽他們的祈求，LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

¹⁸為要給孤兒和受欺壓的人伸冤，使強橫的人不再威嚇他們。To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
