詩篇 第 55 篇

¹（大衛的訓誨詩，交與伶長。用絲弦的樂器。）神啊，求你留心聽我的禱告，不要隱藏不聽我的懇求！Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.

²求你側耳聽我，應允我。我哀歎不安，發聲唉哼，Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;

³都因仇敵的聲音，惡人的欺壓；因為他們將罪孽加在我身上，發怒氣逼迫我。Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.

⁴我心在我裡面甚是疼痛；死的驚惶臨到我身。My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.

⁵恐懼戰兢歸到我身；驚恐漫過了我。Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.

⁶我說：但願我有翅膀像鴿子，我就飛去，得享安息。And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.

⁷我必遠遊，宿在曠野。（細拉）Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah.

⁸我必速速逃到避所，脫離狂風暴雨。I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.

⁹主啊，求你吞滅他們，變亂他們的舌頭！因為我在城中見了強暴爭競的事。Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.

¹⁰他們在城牆上晝夜繞行；在城內也有罪孽和奸惡。Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it.

¹¹邪惡在其中；欺壓和詭詐不離街市。Wickedness is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.

¹²原來不是仇敵辱罵我，若是仇敵，還可忍耐；也不是恨我的人向我狂大，若是恨我的人就必躲避他。For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:

¹³不料是你；你原與我平等，是我的同伴，是我知己的朋友！But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.

¹⁴我們素常彼此談論，以為甘甜；我們與群眾在神的殿中同行。We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.

¹⁵願死亡忽然臨到他們！願他們活活地下入陰間！因為他們的住處，他們的心中，都是邪惡。Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.

¹⁶至於我，我要求告神；耶和華必拯救我。As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.

¹⁷我要晚上、早晨、晌午哀聲悲歎；他也必聽我的聲音。Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

¹⁸他救贖我命脫離攻擊我的人，使我得享平安，因為與我相爭的人甚多。He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.

¹⁹那沒有更變、不敬畏神的人，從太古常存的神必聽見而苦待他。God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.

²⁰他背了約，伸手攻擊與他和好的人。He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant.

²¹他的口如奶油光滑，他的心卻懷著爭戰；他的話比油柔和，其實是拔出來的刀。The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.

²²你要把你的重擔卸給耶和華，他必撫養你；他永不叫義人動搖。Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

²³神啊，你必使惡人下入滅亡的坑；流人血、行詭詐的人必活不到半世，但我要倚靠你。But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.
