詩篇 第 56 篇

¹（非利士人在迦特拿住大衛。那時，他作這金詩，交與伶長。調用遠方無聲鴿。）神啊，求你憐憫我，因為人要把我吞了，終日攻擊欺壓我。Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.

²我的仇敵終日要把我吞了，因逞驕傲攻擊我的人甚多。Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.

³我懼怕的時候要倚靠你。What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

⁴我倚靠神，我要讚美他的話；我倚靠神，必不懼怕。血氣之輩能把我怎麼樣呢？In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

⁵他們終日顛倒我的話；他們一切的心思都是要害我。Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.

⁶他們聚集，埋伏窺探我的腳蹤，等候要害我的命。They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.

⁷他們豈能因罪孽逃脫麼？神啊，求你在怒中使眾民墮落！Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the people, O God.

⁸我幾次流離，你都記數；求你把我眼淚裝在你的皮袋裡。這不都記在你冊子上麼？Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

⁹我呼求的日子，我的仇敵都要轉身退後。神幫助我，這是我所知道的。When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.

¹⁰我倚靠神，我要讚美他的話我倚靠耶和華，我要讚美他的話。In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.

¹¹我倚靠神，必不懼怕。人能把我怎麼樣呢？In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

¹²神啊，我向你所許的願在我身上；我要將感謝祭獻給你。Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.

¹³因為你救我的命脫離死亡。你豈不是救護我的腳不跌倒、使我在生命光中行在神面前麼？For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?
