詩篇 第 124 篇

¹（大衛上行之詩。）以色列人要說：若不是耶和華幫助我們，If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;

²若不是耶和華幫助我們，當人起來攻擊我們、If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:

³向我們發怒的時候，就把我們活活地吞了。Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:

⁴那時，波濤必漫過我們，河水必淹沒我們，Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:

⁵狂傲的水必淹沒我們。Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.

⁶耶和華是應當稱頌的！他沒有把我們當野食交給他們吞吃（原文是牙齒）。Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.

⁷我們好像雀鳥，從捕鳥人的網羅裡逃脫；網羅破裂，我們逃脫了。Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.

⁸我們得幫助，是在乎倚靠造天地之耶和華的名。Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
