约翰福音 第 17 章

¹耶稣说了这话，就举目望天，说：父阿，时候到了，愿你荣耀你的儿子，使儿子也荣耀你；These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

²正如你曾赐给他权柄管理凡有血气的，叫他将永生赐给你所赐给他的人。As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

³认识你─独一的真神，并且认识你所差来的耶稣基督，这就是永生。And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

⁴我在地上已经荣耀你，你所托付我的事，我已成全了。I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

⁵父阿，现在求你使我同你享荣耀，就是未有世界以先，我同你所有的荣耀。And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

⁶你从世上赐给我的人，我已将你的名显明与他们。他们本是你的，你将他们赐给我，他们也遵守了你的道。I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

⁷如今他们知道，凡你所赐给我的，都是从你那里来的；Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.

⁸因为你所赐给我的道，我已经赐给他们，他们也领受了，又确实知道，我是从你出来的，并且信你差了我来。For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

⁹我为他们祈求，不为世人祈求，却为你所赐给我的人祈求，因他们本是你的。I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

¹⁰凡是我的，都是你的；你的也是我的，并且我因他们得了荣耀。And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

¹¹从今以后，我不在世上，他们却在世上；我往你那里去。圣父阿，求你因你所赐给我的名保守他们，叫他们合而为一像我们一样。And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

¹²我与他们同在的时候，因你所赐给我的名保守了他们，我也护卫了他们；其中除了那灭亡之子，没有一个灭亡的，好叫经上的话得应验。While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

¹³现在我往你那里去，我还在世上说这话，是叫他们心里充满我的喜乐。And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

¹⁴我已将你的道赐给他们。世界又恨他们；因为他们不属世界，正如我不属世界一样。I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

¹⁵我不求你叫他们离开世界，只求你保守他们脱离那恶者（或作：脱离罪恶）。I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

¹⁶他们不属世界，正如我不属世界一样。They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

¹⁷求你用真理使他们成圣；你的道就是真理。Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

¹⁸你怎样差我到世上，我也照样差他们到世上。As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

¹⁹我为他们的缘故，自己分别为圣，叫他们也因真理成圣。And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

²⁰我不但为这些人祈求，也为那些因他们的话信我的人祈求，Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

²¹使他们都合而为一。正如你父在我里面，我在你里面，使他们也在我们里面，叫世人可以信你差了我来。That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

²²你所赐给我的荣耀，我已赐给他们，使他们合而为一，像我们合而为一。And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

²³我在他们里面，你在我里面，使他们完完全全的合而为一，叫世人知道你差了我来，也知道你爱他们如同爱我一样。I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

²⁴父阿，我在那里，愿你所赐给我的人也同我在那里，叫他们看见你所赐给我的荣耀；因为创立世界以前，你已经爱我了。Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

²⁵公义的父阿，世人未曾认识你，我却认识你；这些人也知道你差了我来。O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

²⁶我已将你的名指示他们，还要指示他们，使你所爱我的爱在他们里面，我也在他们里面。And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
