詩篇 第 137 篇

¹我們曾在巴比倫的河邊坐下，一追想錫安就哭了。By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.

²我們把琴掛在那裡的柳樹上；We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.

³因為在那裡，擄掠我們的要我們唱歌，搶奪我們的要我們作樂，說：給我們唱一首錫安歌罷！For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

⁴我們怎能在外邦唱耶和華的歌呢？How shall we sing the LORD’s song in a strange land?

⁵耶路撒冷啊，我若忘記你，情願我的右手忘記技巧！If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.

⁶我若不記念你，若不看耶路撒冷過於我所最喜樂的，情願我的舌頭貼於上膛！If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

⁷耶路撒冷遭難的日子，以東人說：拆毀！拆毀！直拆到根基！耶和華啊，求你記念這仇！Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.

⁸將要被滅的巴比倫城啊（城：原文是女子），報復你像你待我們的，那人便為有福！O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.

⁹拿你的嬰孩摔在磐石上的，那人便為有福！Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.
