诗篇 第 8 篇

¹（大卫的诗，交与伶长。用迦特乐器。）耶和华─我们的主啊，你的名在全地何其美！你将你的荣耀彰显于天。O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

²你因敌人的缘故，从婴孩和吃奶的口中，建立了能力，使仇敌和报仇的闭口无言。Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

³我观看你指头所造的天，并你所陈设的月亮星宿，When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

⁴便说：人算甚么，你竟顾念他？世人算甚么，你竟眷顾他？What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

⁵你叫他比天使（或译：神）微小一点，并赐他荣耀尊贵为冠冕。For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

⁶你派他管理你手所造的，使万物，就是一切的牛羊、田野的兽、空中的鸟、海里的鱼，凡经行海道的，都服在他的脚下。Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

⁷(本节与上节合并)All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;

⁸(本节与上节合并)The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

⁹耶和华─我们的主啊，你的名在全地何其美！O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
