1（上行（或作登阶，下同）之诗。）我在急难中求告耶和华，他就应允我。In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.
2耶和华啊，求你救我脱离说谎的嘴唇和诡诈的舌头！Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
3诡诈的舌头啊，要给你甚么呢？要拿甚么加给你呢？What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?
4就是勇士的利箭和罗腾木（小树名，松类）的炭火。Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
5我寄居在米设，住在基达帐棚之中，有祸了！Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
6我与那恨恶和睦的人许久同住。My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
7我愿和睦，但我发言，他们就要争战。I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
